The USGS magnitudes are listed.<\/p>\n<li>1960.05.22 <a href=\"http:\/\/earthquake.usgs.gov\/earthquakes\/eventpage\/iscgem879136#general_summary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M 9.6<\/a> Bio-Bio, Chile 25 km (the USGS lists the M as 9.6, while most everyone else states M = 9.5<\/li>\n<li>2010.02.27 <a href=\"http:\/\/earthquake.usgs.gov\/earthquakes\/eventpage\/usp000h7rf#general_summary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M 8.8<\/a> Bio-Bio, Chile 22.9 km<\/li>\n<li>2014.04.01 <a href=\"http:\/\/earthquake.usgs.gov\/earthquakes\/eventpage\/usc000nzvd#general_summary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M 8.2<\/a> Iquique, Chile 25 km<\/li>\n<li>2015.09.16 <a href=\"http:\/\/earthquake.usgs.gov\/earthquakes\/eventpage\/us20003k7a#general_summary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M 8.3<\/a> Illapel, Chile 25 km<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\nHere are the NOAA Center for Tsunami Research websites for the three tsunamis plotted in the map below, plus the one from 2015.09.16 not shown on the map below.<\/p>\n<li>1960.05.22 <a href=\"http:\/\/nctr.pmel.noaa.gov\/chile20100227\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M 9.5<\/a> (There is no page for the 1960 earthquake, so this map is located on the 2010 page.)\/li>\n<li>2010.02.27 <a href=\"http:\/\/nctr.pmel.noaa.gov\/chile20100227\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M 8.8<\/a><\/li>\n<li>2014.04.01 <a href=\"http:\/\/nctr.pmel.noaa.gov\/chile20140401\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M 8.2<\/a><\/li>\n<li>2015.09.16 <a href=\"http:\/\/nctr.pmel.noaa.gov\/chile20150916\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M 8.3<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here is the map. These three maps use the same color scale.
