Maximum Tsunami Observation
| Tsunami Information (Tsunami Observations) Issued at 03:34 JST 26 Oct 2013 Tsunami Observations As of 03:31 JST Data marked with # have been newly issued or revised. Data marked with + indicate tsunamis becoming higher in the coastal regions.
Tsunamis may become the maximum a few or more hours after the initial waves. In some coastal regions, tsunamis higher than recorded ones may have arrived. Tsunamis may be higher than those recorded at observation sites. Major Tsunami Warnings, Tsunami Warnings and/or Advisories are currently in effect for the following coastal regions of Japan: <Tsunami Advisory> IWATE PREF. MIYAGI PREF. FUKUSHIMA PREF. IBARAKI PREF. KUJUKURI AND SOTOBO AREA, CHIBA PREF. Although there may be slight sea-level changes in some coastal regions, no tsunami damage is expected.
